SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the text messaging program operated by Leverage Local (“Leverage Local,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile number and affirmatively opting in, you agree to these terms.

1. Program Description

Leverage Local provides local SEO, Google Business Profile management, and website design services to small businesses. Our text messaging program is used to communicate with prospective and current clients who have asked to hear from us by text.

Depending on how you opted in, you may receive:

  • Confirmations and reminders for scheduled strategy calls and consultations
  • Updates on the status of your website build, content, or SEO work
  • Billing, renewal, and account notifications
  • Replies and follow-ups to inquiries you have submitted to us
  • Promotional messages and offers relating to our local SEO and website services

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from Leverage Local by:

  • Checking the text message consent box on a form on our website at leveragelocal.com and submitting your mobile number
  • Providing written consent on a service agreement or intake form
  • Texting us first at +1 312-574-3916 to start a conversation

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from Leverage Local. All of our website forms can be submitted without opting in to text messages.

You must be at least 18 years old and the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your relationship with us and the services you have requested. You may receive messages in response to your own activity, such as booking a call, as well as periodic updates and offers.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Leverage Local does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges will apply according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

5. How to Opt Out

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You may also text QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or REVOKE.

After you send one of these keywords, we will send a single confirmation message and you will receive no further text messages from that program. If you want to rejoin, opt in again using any of the methods in Section 2.

You may also opt out by emailing info@leveragelocal.com or calling +1 312-574-3916. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from email communications; to opt out of email, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us directly.

7. Supported Carriers and Delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is not guaranteed by Leverage Local. Not all mobile devices or carriers support text messaging, and messages may not be deliverable to all handsets.

We respect your privacy and will only use the information you provide to deliver the messages and services you have requested.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services. We do not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent records with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued participation in the program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
