Each month, fresh content was added that touched on trending topics, popular local events, and styles relevant to nearby neighborhoods. These updates not only made the business more visible on Google but also built trust with local searchers who were looking for a salon nearby.

These numbers show that while the salon was discoverable online, its profile was not attracting much engagement. A handful of calls and clicks suggested some visibility, but compared to the size of the Miami market, there was significant room to grow.

The strongest growth happened in the spring. After a rapid rise in March, April surged even further with 47 calls. May and June continued that climb, ending with 102 calls in June — more than 16 times higher than in January. The calls chart showed a clear pattern of growth month by month, with steady increases and an especially strong jump heading into the summer. From just 66 calls in January to 369 calls in June, the practice experienced a nearly fivefold increase in inquiries. By May and June, calls were coming in at a pace that suggested local search visibility was becoming a consistent driver of business.

Website Clicks

Website clicks tell another important story: how many people moved beyond the Google profile and wanted to learn more about the practice by visiting its website. Clicks more than tripled over the six-month period, going from 336 to 1,221. Even though April saw a slight dip, the rebound in May and surge in June confirmed the strategy was working. This growth meant that more patients were actively browsing the practice’s website for details on services, hours, and scheduling.

Overall Interactions

Interactions include every way people engage with the Google Business Profile, whether calling, clicking to the website, or using other available options. The interactions chart showed a steady upward climb, signaling broad engagement across the board.

From 1,056 in January to 2,496 in June, the practice saw overall interactions more than double. This consistent upward trend, even with a minor dip in April, showed how each new month of content and optimization led to better patient engagement.

Why This Works

The core strategy behind this growth was simple but powerful. Each month, we created locally relevant content for the practice’s website and Google Business Profile. We highlighted nearby neighborhoods, included commentary on dental health trends, and focused on keywords that matched what people in Chicago were searching for.

By targeting these “near me” and service-specific phrases, the practice began showing up more often in local searches. Google rewarded the regular activity with improved rankings, and patients responded by calling, clicking, and engaging.
